On Friday, April 25, former Rowan County Senior High School standout Chance Furnish’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Longwood Lancers.

The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at Buddy Bolding Stadium against Longwood Lancers.
