Colby Wilburn, a former Rowan County Senior High School star now playing for the Transylvania Pioneers, is set to participate in the Division III NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The team’s first matchup will be against the Washington Bears.
The opening game tips off Friday, March 6 at 8:35 p.m. at WashU Field House.
On Saturday, May 16, these former Northeast Kentucky area high school stars will be competing.
Samaria Taylor will join Morehead State’s women’s basketball team as a transfer from Furman University for next season. Head coach Jackie Alexander praised Taylor’s skills both on offense and defense.
Marissa Green is set to join Morehead State women’s basketball as a transfer for next season. The Kentucky native brings experience from Illinois Chicago and a strong high school record.
