Men’s Golf Concludes Play at Sea Palms Invitational

Men’s golf wrapped up play at the Sea Palms Invitational Saturday afternoon, carding team rounds of 297-284-301—882. 

Nolan Piazza finished with a top-35 performance, fashioning rounds of 70-73-71—214. The sophomore had a strong opening nine holes in the second round, firing -1 par and led the team with 11 birdies.

Freshman Logan Liles put together a strong outing, with rounds of 70-69-77—216, and led the Eagles in par 4 scoring with an average of 3.93.

Andrew Marrs carded rounds of 79-69-80—228, with his second round 69 marking the best of his collegiate career. Cameron Travis led the Eagles in pars with 35 and Brody Webb rounded out the quintet with rounds of 81-87-82—250. 

The Eagles return to stroke play in two weeks at the Butler Invitational. The two-day tournament tees off from the Highland Country Club in Indianapolis, Ind.
