On Friday, April 4, former Boyd County High School standout Peyton Jackson’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Kennedy Center Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at Kennedy Center Field against Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
