City of Ashland issued the following announcement.
Unveiled January 3rd, 2020 and located at the Port of Ashland, along the Ohio River in Ashland Kentucky, sit the largest group of bronze sculptures placed on a single site in the United States. Designed and sculpted by world renowned artist Ginés Serrán-Pagán and gifted to the city by a generous benefactor, the new attraction, The Statues of Ashland, are an exceptional asset to the citizens of Ashland and all who visit here.
The Statues of Ashland are a beautiful sight to see during the day as you take in the amazing design of each sculpture: Venus, Genesis, and Vulcan. As night falls, a new experience emerges with a creative light show illuminating the art under the stars.
