GAME NOTES
• Morehead State looks for its first-ever win against San Diego. Last year's meeting came down to virtually the final play as the Eagles narrowly fell 10-3 at USD.
• Running back James Louis has come into his own the past two weeks. Against Marist, he carried the ball 32 times (122 yards) to set the program's PFL era (2001-) record for most carries. He then exploded for a career-high 195 yards and two scores at Dayton, the most individual rushing yards for an Eagle since Trevor Jones set the single-game record with 284 in 2016. James has averaged 158 yards the last two games.
• Christian Graves ranks in the top three in the PFL with six receiving touchdowns.
• Cooper Krezek has led the Eagles in tackles in six consecutive games. He now has a team-high 89 tackles this season, which is his second straight season with 80+ stops. Krezek went over the 200 career tackle mark at Dayton with a team-high 11. He has four games with double-digit tackles this fall.
• Gunnison Bloodgood leads Morehead State in receiving yards (284) but six Eagles - Bloodgood, Christian Graves, Jeremiah Scott, Mikey Armour, Kenny Lewis, Jr. and Kyle Daly - all have eclipsed 200 yards in catches this season.
• Six different Eagles have nabbed interceptions in 2022. Those picking off opponent errant throws include: Dylan Leonardis, Kaleb Lyons, Khiyree Keith, Cooper Krezek and Enzo Fantau-Barker.
• Morehead State has led the entire FCS in blocked kicks (8) and blocked punts (6) all season long. MSU's eight blocks are the most since 2001. Jihad McCall has one game left to try and tie or break the FCS single-season record for blocked punts. He has four this year with the record sitting at five by two players.
